💪🏼Let’s talk about strength vs. endurance and the differences.💪🏼
Alright guys happy Sunday! let’s talk about two fitness terms that get thrown around a lot which is strength and endurance. They might sound similar but trust me, they’re actually SO different.
Strength is all about your muscles being able to lift heavy stuff for a short period of time. Think of it as that power you need for things like lifting weights or doing a pushup. 🏋️♂️ It’s short bursts of force but it’s intense! Basically it’s how much you can lift or push without getting tired immediately .
And endurance on the other hand, is your ability to keep going for a long time without burning out. This could be running, cycling etc. 🏃🏻♀️➡️ It’s less about how much weight you can move and more about how long you can keep moving.
They’re both super important!! and you can actually train for both at the same time! So whether you’re lifting heavy or running miles, both kinds of fitness will help you level up!!! 🥰💥

A little device detox is great to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with myself. 📱🙅🏻♀️ *Whether it’s yoga, a walk in nature, or a quick workout, I feel SO much better when I’ve moved. 🏃🏻♀️➡️After a busy day I love unwinding with a soothing skincare routine and some candles for a little zen time. 🕯️😍

1.Granola Bar & Apple🍎
wholegrain, lowsugar granola bar with a crisp apple. for fiber and protein, and natural sugar boost.
2.Greek Yogurt & Berries🫐
A serving of plain Greek yogurt with fresh or frozen berries. High in protein and antioxidants
3.Hummus & Carrot Sticks🥕
A small side of hummus with carrots. rich in fiber and healthy fats keeping you full and energized.
4.Almonds & Dried Fruit🍓
A handful of unsalted almonds with a small portion of dried fruit. provides healthy fats, protein, and a bit of sweetness.
5.Rice Cakes with peanut Butter🥜
almond or peanut butter on a rice cake. for healthy fats and gives you a good energy boost.
6.Granola Bar & Banana 🍌
your fav granola bar with a banana. This is full of potassium, fiber, and protein for energy.
7.Hard-Boiled Eggs & Sliced Veggies 🥚🫑

✏️Planner or my agenda~ you will ALWAYS catch me using a planner or an agenda to keep track of tasks and goals for the week.
💻 Digital Declutter~ weekly cleanups of my laptop & phone keep things smooth and a lot more stress free. 😍
🧼“Tidy space, tidy mind” Which has always been one of my mottos is the reason why I do a quick tidy up at the end of each day. I feel like it helps me feel better and more organized and put together! 🥰

We’ve almost made it to Friday! 😩😍 Let me share with you some really helpful fitness hacks to make your workouts during the week a lot better! 💪🏼
Superset for efficiency
•just combining two exercises back to back (without rest) to save time and boost intensity of your workout. It maximizes your workout in less time and keeps your heart rate up.🥵📈
2. Track your progress
•you can use something like a fitness app or journal to track your workouts, reps, and the amount of weight that you’re lifting. 💪🏼Seeing your improvement over time keeps you motivated and can be sooo helpful with your future goals😊
3. Compound movements
•make sure you are focused on compound exercises like squats, deadlifts, and bench presses. Basically to engage many muscles groups at once but it is great for helping you burn more calories, build strength, and get your desired results faster!! 😋
4. Fuel properly pre and post Workout
•Pre workout: could be a small snack with protein and carbs like a banana with peanut butter
•Post workout: Replenish with protein and carbs this could be a protein shake with fruit or a chicken salad 🥗 to repair muscles and help your body to recover. ❤️🩹
5. Consistency
•Don’t aim for perfect workouts. Consistency will always be the key 🔑 Even a shorter, lighter workout is more effective than none at all! Just keep that in mind. 🥰

We’ve made it through Monday! 🥵 They can definitely be tough after some of us have the freedom and luxury of the weekend but we made it to Tuesday and it doesn’t have to be a return to burden mindset!! for those of us dealing with mental health challenges or high pressure jobs, the start to the week can especially feel heavy. Some ways I like to get through it is:
~Plan ahead by getting organized for your week and writing your to do list down. ✍🏼
~Start small and slow. give yourself permission to ease into the day you don’t have to feel like you have to hit the ground running take it slow. maybe have a calming cup of coffee or tea to help you relax. ☕️
~Have compassion for yourself it’s OK it’s not be 100% at the beginning of the week instead, approach it with a more positive mindset. 🧠 ⚡️
~And remember if you have a bad start to the week it doesn’t define the rest of it. You always have the power to get yourself through and to change or shift the outcome.🙏🏼💪🏼

Reflecting on a year of growth & progress 😮💨💪🏼🔥
As 2024 comes to a close, I’m feeling sooo grateful for the challenges this year brought. I pushed my limits, hit new personal records, and kept a great balance of hard work and recovery. But the real highlight? Having you guys along for the ride!! 🥰🥰
This year wasn’t perfect, but every step forward has made us stronger. I’m excited for what 2025 holds. And for those of you who feel like they haven’t met any goals or just had a tough year in general that is OKAY!! Don’t forget to give yourself some grace and let’s celebrate getting through it!!! Honestly i’m gonna get a little personal here😩 but going into 2025 one of my more simple new year’s resolutions will be to try my very best to remain as stress free and composed as possible. I don’t know about you guys but stress definitely plays a huge part in my life and i feel like im just running on empty sometimes!! A good new year’s resolution we can share is to remember to take “me” time and prioritize massages, weather is a massage chair, a professional massage, a facial, or meditation, even doing things that bring me more peace. It is a big goal of mine to prioritize the little things this year that will hopefully in turn help me to achieve the big ones! 🥰💙

This exercise is SUCHHH a great way to practice your body control and work your core and upper body! Start by dead hanging from the bar with your body completely straight then lifting your knees and legs fully toward your chest as high as you can go and repeating this until failure folding your body completely in half. This gives you great range of motion and works on your flexibility too don’t forget to give it a try!! 🥰💪🏼
