I got this lovely turquoise lingerie last summer & finally found a lovely pair of matching stockings (a gift from an admirer, too!). I was so delighted to finally have the set complete and I was inspired to post a more artistic, longer try on video. When I first started making video content I got really ambitious right away! I shot a complicated scene with multiple angles and a story. It took me so long to edit, easily 30 hrs. After that I realized I needed to go back to basics while I learned the ropes. This video represents me getting a little more confident with my planning and filming skills, let me know what you think! I know it’s not too complicated but I wanted to put a little more thought into how I filmed a simple “lingerie try on scene”

I have a crystal globe hanging in my bedroom window, I love all the little rainbows it makes!

Isn't my bedroom so cute? I've been procrastinating for a long time, but I'm painting the ceiling soon and it's going to be even cuter!! Do you like to do DIY home projects? I love to DIY and do it a lot. Sometimes I regret getting in over my head but I'm grateful there are so many useful youtube videos to help me.

I watched a video tutorial on how Marlene Dietrich did her makeup and how her contract requested certain types of lighting. I'm always experimenting and learning, so I did a more modern take on her look and used my bathroom lighting to emulate the lighting she liked--butterfly lighting for those of you who are curious. When I am leaning something new I usually do a quick proof of concept first, and later I'll pull out my professional lights and nice camera to do it justice! Oh yes, and a better backdrop than my shower curtain :) :)
